Overnight Oats Recipes | Oatmeal Cookie + PB & Banana



You've heard it before: if you fail to plan, you are planning to fail.  

And it's true really.  I've been doing the 21 Day Fix program lately and it's awesome.  The boxes really help me stay on track.  




But the thing that helps most, is prepping and planning ahead.  The week before I plan out our dinners for the week, and plan my breakfast/snacks around that.  

Lately, we've been getting our groceries through Walmart's Online Grocery system and I'm LOVING it.  So after I've planned the week out, I'll pick our groceries and order them through the app and pick them up the next day.

Three cheers for avoiding the Walmart crazies every weekend.

Then I start the prepping.  I prep all the snacks I can for the week and go ahead and make my breakfast for the entire week too.  




And that's where this post comes in.  This past week I've been all about these two overnight oats recipes.  AND once again you can prep them ahead of time so they're ready to go in the morning.  Not to mention the prep time is maybe 5 minutes.

Even if you're not doing the 21 Day Fix program these are delicious recipes and of course they're a fantastic healthy option.




Ingredients:
1 cup Rolled Oats
4 Tbsp Almond Butter
2 Tsp Cinnamon
2 Stevia packets
4 Tbsp Honey
1/2 cup Nonfat Plain Yogurt
1/2 cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk

Instructions: yields 2 servings
Mix all the ingredients together and put in an air tight container.  I put mine in a mason jar.  Store in the refrigerator overnight and they're ready to go in the morning. 

21 Day Fix Boxes: per serving 1Y 1/3R 2tbsp 
(honestly I just round up to 1/2 R because that's easier to keep track of)












Ingredients:
2/3 cups of Rolled Oats
2/3 cups Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
2/3 cups Nonfat Plain Yogurt
1 large Banana, mashed
4 Tbsp of Peanut Butter
2 Tsp of Honey
1/4 Tsp Cinnamon
pinch of Salt


Instructions: yields 2 servings
Mash banana in a medium bowl.  Add in the rest of the ingredients.  Store in an air tight container, overnight in the refrigerator and they're ready to go in the morning.

21 Day Fix Boxes: per serving 1/2Y 1/2R 1P 2tbsp






Notes: For both recipes I doubled them to fill the mason jar and ate only half of a jar for each breakfast, so these recipes truly make 2 servings each.  Also, I put mine in a masonjar because they kept fresh this way, and made for easy storage. 




Now, don't get me wrong I still love to bake and will continue to share those type of recipes on here.  BUT would y'all like to see more healthy/21 day fix approved recipes on here?  Sound off in the comments below.
