Last Minute Valentines Gift DIY | "You're the Balm Valentine!"
Looking for a last minute Valentines gift? I've totally got you. Your galentine. Teachers. Classmates. Coworkers. You name it this will be perfect. And take like 5 minutes. Win.
Not to mention this could easily be adapted for any other occassion, not just Valentines Day.
I bought 4 random EOS balms for my coworkers and some card stock.
I just used my Cricut Explore Air to cut out a 1 1/2 inch hold from the card stock. However, I believe their is a hand held dicut for that exact size circle at Hobby Lobby and Michaels.
And this gift is totally not complete without the pun. You're the "BALM"
I added "Happy Valentines Day" below considering I was gifting this to my coworkers, but "you're the balm, valentine" would be super cute for others.
I can already see this being so dang adorable for Easter (drawing little bunny ears around it) or changing up the saying to fit end-of-the-year gifts and birthdays.
Happy happy day my galentines. I hope you enjoyed this post. What are your Valentines day plans?

Cookies n Cream Bark
Y'all, where is 2017 going? Valentines is less than a week away. And honestly, I'd be lying if I said I wish the days (and year) would slow down.
It's true what they say, the days are long but the years are short.
I often find myself wishing the days away.
Dreaming of summertime. Dreaming of the future.
I know I shouldn't do that.
One day I'll want the days to drag on.
But not today.
And I think that's okay. We're all guilty of that every once in a while, right?
Alright mini-venting sesh over.
Something else I'm guilty of? Indulging when I get a little stressed out (hints the wishing these days would pass quicker). And y'all, I've got a legit recipe for those days you wanna indulge.
No baking. Two ingredients. EASY EASY EASY y'all.
Thomas found a recipe similar to this on Facebook a while back and we've been making it ever since.
Ingredients:
+ 12 oz bag of white chocolate chips
+ Oreos (1 row of Oreos for every 12 oz bag of c.chips)
Instructions:
1. Crush Oreos in a ziploc bag with a wooden spoon.
2. Melt white chocolate chips on low, in a medium size pot. Be careful to closely monitor, stirring frequently, so the chocolate doesn't burn.
3. Pour crushed Oreos into melted chocolate chips and mix.
4. Line a cookie sheet with wax paper. Pour the mixture onto the paper, and spread it out "flat."
5. Freeze for 30 minutes.
6. Break apart into shards.
What are you making for Valentines day this year? What is your go-to dessert recipe? Ever find yourself wishing the days away? Humor me in the comments below.
It's Friday Jr. Y'all!

Office Lighting | on a budget
Happy Monday y'all. If you follow me on SC (@mary_timmerman) you heard me blab this weekend about finally getting around to decorating our office. And y'all, I'm so. dang. excited. to be getting this room how I want it to be.....FINALLY.
I post the mood board for this room, way way back -- read: september. And then a couple months ago I bought this leopard rug. And I even thought I had the lighting choice nailed down too, BUTTTTT then I went to Hobby Lobby and saw it (the light in the mood board) in person and it was just too too small.
So back to the drawing board we go. And with the room cleared out it's go time baby.
This is where y'all come in. I've narrowed it down to four options, that I feel are pretty reasonably priced. Vote for your favorite down below. Help a sister out y'all.
[ pin this! ]
[ going top to bottom, left to right ]
1. Semi Flush Mount Barn Metal Light | Amazon $59.99 (or a chandelier version here for double the price...whatttt)
2. Aged Bronze Ceiling Fan | Amazon $176.74 -- so I definitely thought this was cheaper when I was rounding up my final options and compiling this post...whomp whomp.
3. Lantern Candle Chandelier | Amazon $139.99
4. Abstract 4 Crystal Chandelier | Overstock $123.99
So, if I'm being honest I'm totally leaning toward #4, but I just don't know. haaaalp.

As I was browsing pinterest last night, I came across this pin from Meg O. on the go and was just like "yasssssss". Y'all know I am recently into makeup; especially drugstore makeup (cheers for not breaking the bank). I can't wait to try out several more of these concealers, but I already have (and love) the Maybelline Better Skin and Age Rewind.
THREE // Office Decor
If you follow me on Snapchat (mary_timmerman) you saw that T helped me clean out the office this past week -- eek! So this weekend's game plan is to reorganize my desk and get a game plan for the new decor. If you missed the mood board I shared months ago, check it out here. BUT I'm trying to work on a gallery wall of sorts, and I'm thinking this print on Etsy is perfection.
FOUR // Quote for the Week

FIVE // L'OREAL Infallible Beauty Blender
And update on the beauty blender dupe from L'Oreal, LOVEEEEEEE. I love it. It's not as dense as other knock offs are, and super easy to hold. Also, it's only $9, so yeah. Go get you one.
Cheers to a weekend full of no plans. Do you have any fun plans this weekend?
