Y'all the big game is coming up and before we know it it'll be here. As in, less than three weeks away. So, I'm here to talk about some easy DIYs you can do to get ready for the game. And some good ole snacks, but cause lets be honest I'm only watching the game to enjoy the snacks and commercials.
So onto the DIY. Today I'm breaking down how to "slice" and create cut-outs on Cricut Design Space. Once you go through the steps, you'll see how easy this DIY actually is. And I promise the more you practice the better you'll get.
Step One / Select the image you want to start with I chose a football helmet.
Step Two / Choose a font you'd like to use (or another object would work as well). I used Magnolia Sky. And place it where you'd like on the original image.
Step Three / Select the text and image and choose the "slice" button.
Step Four / Remove old text from the image.
Step Five / Measure where you want to put the decal, and adjust the width/height of your image. And boom, you're done. Happy cutting friends.
Now that we've got the DIY tutorial down (practice it, and I'm telling you you'll fall in love), it's time to talk about the fun stuff. Snacks.
Like I mentioned above I'm really here for the food and commercials. Especially, because my year totally sucked it up this year and isn't showing up. *Insert eye roll here* So we're focusing on the important stuff.
Before I've made different snacks, but this year I'm spending my time on the crafts (seriously, these mason jars #allthehearteyes) and making it quick and easy with the food.
Snyder’s of Hanover® Pretzels | I went with the "sweet & salty" flavor. These are totally my vice as of latley, and I feel like it's a totally looked over flavor. Trust me, try it. You won't regret it. Pour bags out into these mason jars for cute and quick party prep.
Pop Secret® Popcorn | Popcorn is definitely Thomas' go-to literally any day of the week. So it was an obvious buy for the game.
BUT, of course that's not all we'll be scarfing down between commericals. Looking for recipe inspiration? Click here. What else should I have -- keep in mind I'm going for quick and easy -- at our big game party?
