Will Run For Wine

If there one thing I'm always in need of its motivation. Bikini season is right around the corner, yet that's not enough to get me in the gym consistently.  And I know I'm not the only one.

Often times I get excited to wear new workout clothes that I've bought.  But often than not, its knowing that if I work out I have more wiggle room in what I can indulge in that night.

You guyssss, these neon leggings are so so comfy.  They are so smooth, I honestly wish you could feel them through the screen because its unbelievable until you've felt them yourself.  And I'm loving the color for summer.  Bring on the bright bright colors.

And the best yet?  Mindee @ Airabella Active is giving y'all 15% off with the code airabella15.

Anyone else a sucker for super cute workout gear?  Are you loving neon this Spring?

Timmerman Party of 2: Father/Daughter & Mother/Son Dances

Wedding Wednesday y'all, and we're almost a quarter of the way into the year.  Can you believe it?  Personally, I'm counting down the days until summer, and so I'll be welcoming a new month with open arms.

As always I'm LOVING the sharing this part of our wedding with y'all.  The dances with our parents were so sweet and emotional.

My dad and I danced to I Loved Her First by Blake Shelton.

{For my dad's wedding gift I gave him a picture frame with the lyrics in it with a baby picture of myself and him, and then later gave him one of our dance to put in it.}

I can't remember why I left my veil on for the beginning of our reception.  But I am so glad I did.  The pictures during mine and Thomas' first dance, and the dance with my dad are so special to me, and I love how they showcase my veil.  Especially since in the majority of my "bridal portraits" I wasn't wearing it.

I teared up the entire dance.

...and so was my dad.

And saving the best one for last, this black and white of us trying to figure out our dance together is hands down my favorite.

And the Mother/Son dance.  Thomas and his mom danced to My Wish by Rascal Flatts.

Did you do the father/daughter, mother/son dances?  What were your song choices?
Happy hump day loves.

DDT [march.29]

Welcome to a new week of Delicious Dish Tuesday, where we share our recipes and ask you to share YOUR awesome recipes with us!  Last week we had some delicious looking recipes shared, I love finding all these new recipes to add to my "to-do" list.  This past week my favorite recipe was shared by Gina @ Kleinworth & Co.

Spring celebrations are fun & easy with this Spring Funfetti® Cake. You can create fun family moments with this cake recipe as one of your Easter desserts. Using frosting just in-between layers for that "naked cake" look that is SO popular right now. It's gives the perfect amount of cake to frosting ratio & it's absolutely delicious! I'm loving it for all our holiday & spring birthday celebrations.

Zoo Animal Brownie Pops

Did y'all know that today is "national something on a stick day"?  I mean there is a national day for practically everything these days.  Now I'm definitely not complaining, I mean these brownie pops from Shari's Berries are so dang adorable.  Not to mention Thomas and my nephews loved them.  Loved them.

When Shari's Berries asked if I wanted to try out some of their cake or brownie pops I jumped at the chance because I knew my chocolate loving husband would fall head over heels for them and spoiler alert he did.

Y'all these zoo animals are darling, and brownie pops is such an awesome twist on the well known cake pops.  Thomas said they're a mix between fudge and brownies.  Ummmm, yum!

I tried making some cute Easter treats that I saw on Pinterest (below) and lets just say they're not as easy as they looked.  And I didn't have the right flavor of frosting for the best outcome.

So my suggestion?  Celebrate national something on a stick day with Shari's Berries and order yourself something delicious and pretty and avoid the inevitable pinterest fail.

Have you ever had anything from Shari's Berries?  Are you celebrating national stick day?  Now if only we could get this day off as a holiday. ;)  Happy Monday loves.

Rice Krispies {candy filled} Eggs

Happy Easter weekend y'all.  Its a Good Friday indeed, thanks to a 3 day weekend that is much needed.  And I just want to quickly share with you the quickest treat for Sunday.

I first saw these candy-filled eggs in TV commercials last year, and this past weekend The Pioneer Woman shared a version on her show.  And I knew I just had to make them this year, not to mention how easy they were.

I simply used my mom's recipe for rice krispies --below --  (including Country Crock butter sent to me to review from Influenster) and added Thomas' candy of choice to fill the eggs.

They turned out amazing.  I mean seriously, they're delicious, buttery, melt in your mouth crazy good.

INGREDIENTS:
4 tbsp of Country Crock Butter
5 cups of Rice Krispies Cereal
1 bag of mini marshmallows
1 bag of milk chocolate M&Ms
Plastic Eggs
Nonstick Spray

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. On low heat, melt the butter and bag of marshmallows.
2. Stir continuously. (do not let this mixture sit or it will burn)
3. Once mixture is melted, take off the heat and add in the rice krispies cereal one cup at a time.
4. Stir until thoroughly mixed through.
5. Spray plastic eggs with nonstick spray.
6. Fill each half of the egg, and add your candy in one half.
7. Close the eggs tightly, and let set for at least 10 minutes.  Enjoy.

Influenster sent me a coupon for Country Crock butter, and y'all these are some buttery rice krispies treats.
I'm honestly not sure you can go wrong with butter...ever...but I love how these treats turned out.

I'll be making these again later today for when family comes to visit this afternoon.  And I'm so so excited for all our plans this weekend.  My parents and nephews are coming to visit, and we'll be with Thomas' family as well.  I'm talking egg hunts, dying eggs, the steeple chase, bonfires and lots of food (deviled eggs, buffalo chicken dip and french onion dip are all in the plans).

{ keep up with it all on snapchat @mary_timmerman and instagram }

What's your favorite Easter treat?  What are your plans for this 3 day weekend?

Timmerman Party of 2: First Dance

Wedding Wednesday y'all, and we've made it halfway through the week.  Hallelujah!!  Last week I shared some of our family pictures, and per usual I'm so in love with them.  This weekend I actually ordered several to create something for our dining room that I can't wait to show y'all.

Right after taking family pictures it was time for our first dance.  We danced to God Gave Me You, by Blake Shelton.  I loved our first dance.  It was full of so so much laughter.  Although a lot of times it seems like first dances are romantic, both of us were pretty uncomfortable dancing in front of everyone.  And lets be honest most couples probably are.  But we just talked and laughed with each other, making it a wonderful memory to look back on.  In hindsight I think I would've figured out a way to cut the song in half, but I still love watching the video of our dance.

So tell me, was your first dance awkward, romantic, serious?

Believe it or not I really do narrow down the pictures that I share on here.  There are just so many, and I love love love them all.

Can you tell I'm biased to the black and whites?

Easter Mantle

As of Sunday its officially Spring, even though we've been enjoying Spring weather for a couple weeks now.  And our mantle has been decorated for Easter since midway through February...oops! ;)  I'm thinking I can easily transition into a Spring mantle by taking away the egg tree, nesting eggs and bunny and subbing in some birds and flowers.  Let's hope it goes as smoothly (and inexpensively) as I think it will.

Anyone else love decorating for each season and holiday as much as I have been?

there a full list of where everything is from at the bottom of this post.

Happy Spring loves.

And a little bit of our dinning room below.  I mainly focused on decorating our mantle for Easter but there are small areas throughout the house with tastes of Easter or Spring.

You may notice that the ugly yellow flower [seen in this post] has finally been covered up and updated into this GORGEOUS wooden pallet and our huge clock.  I am so in love with how it turned out, and Thomas did an amazing job.

Now I don't know about y'all, but we're heading towards a crazy busy, family filled weekend and I'm pretty excited about it.  What are your weekend plans?
