A Gift Basket For the First Time Mom

Right now I'm in the "all my friends are getting engaged-married-have babies" stage of life.  And y'all I'm loving it.  It is so so fun to celebrate with your friends during these big changes.  Not to mention weddings are so much fun and nothing beats holding a newborn baby.
As I've gotten older I've realized one of my favorite ways to show love is through gifts.  And with several people (read: more than six) with a baby on the way, I'm preparing to shower them with love.
A while ago I wrote this post on how to create a gift basket for newly engaged friend.

One of my best friends recently announced she was pregnant (and I got to take their pictures), eek!  And while I can't wait for the little babe to get here, I've already started preparing to pamper my new mama friend and the baby with a gift basket.

Things I included in my "First Time Mama" Gift Basket:
{pick and choose items from this list to easily put together your own basket}

Box / Target

Mom Life Tee / LINDSxoPRESSES Etsy shop
The cuteness factor is like off the charts with this tee, not to mention it's loose fit (hello, post-baby bod) and super soft.
Also, Lindsay the brains behind the etsy shop was so kind to share a code BEMARY with y'all to get free shipping.  Y'all...do not miss out on this.  Whether its for yourself or a friend, this shirt is something that belongs in your (or their) closet.

4-in-1 Nursing Cover / Covered Goods
Something for mom and baby, and seriously super chic.  I have heard moms rave about these all over the internet.  And it doesn't surprise me at all now that I've received one in the mail seeing as they're not only cute (coming in 8 different patterns) but they're also really useful.

And by useful I mean it can be used as a nursing cover (and I love you don't have to worry about whether she's making the decision to breastfeed or not because...).  It also transforms into a cover for the carseat.  Blocking out all those germs and wandering hands about to touch your baby in the middle of Walmart.  Then as your little babe continues to grow you can also use it to cover the grocery cart seat..y'all they've thought it all through.

Onesies / There are so many routes to go here, especially if you have a cricut.  My suggestions?
+monogram
+seasonal
+something mom likes (ie: the "latte" onesie above or dance etc)
+something that includes the dad: whether its a nod to his profession, his favorite sports team or a "daddy's little buddy" onesie
+ practically anything from Carters (anyone else getting all the heart eyes looking at their tiny little clothes lately?)

Keep in mind a lot of babies don't fit into newborn clothes for long, if at all, and keep in mind about what size they'll be in for different seasons / holidays / etc.
Pacifers / cute and functional..enough said.
Coffee Mug / A fun little twist on the "I woke up like this" trend (see the version I own in this post), and so perfect for mom life.  I mean a little humor never hurt.
Other Ideas Depending on the Gender of the Baby:
Headbands: here here and here
Diapers
This adorable (and on sale for less than $10) Romper
Bibs
Personalized Baby Stats Bracelet (such a cute gift for after the baby is born)
Baby Booties / Moccasins

This "basket" is a celebration gift perfect for that new mama in your life.  Focusing on all the fun, cute stuff they are about to embrace along with mixing in (cute) practical items as well.
What would you add?  I have plenty more baskets to make and would love your suggestions!  What are your favorite products in this basket?  Do you love giving gift baskets?  I'd love to check out any posts you have regarding giving gifts.
