Eat Drink & Be Mary: Timmerman Party of 2: The Ceremony

Timmerman Party of 2: The Ceremony

Once again we've made it halfway through the week, hallelujah!  Another reason I love Wednesdays?  Its time to flood this page with more pictures from our wedding day.  Something that I'm not sure will ever get old.  (maybe, eventually?)  So about these pictures...
Last Wedding Wednesday, I shared the walk down the aisle.  I am so in love with those pictures (as usual) and am excited to share our ceremony pictures.  So here we go...

Kyle Sigmon (husband of my clogging teacher/friend growing up) sang the songs leading up to our ceremony

my Grandaddy read Matthew 19:4-6

praying over our marriage

the rings

my cousin brought us the rope for our "tying the knot" unity ceremony

I was so nervous I'd mess up or forget

you may now kiss the bride..eek!

when the sun is directly in your eyes...

...and what do you do when you've married the love of your life?  you have a dance party with your best friend.
Our ceremony was seriously the best.  A family friend sang as we all walked down the aisle, my Grandaddy read the scripture for us (Matthew 19:4-6), the weather was seriously perfect too.  We opted to not having any music during the actual ceremony (I just didn't see it flowing smoothly in my head), and for our unity item we "tied the knot".  The unity ceremony was one of my favorite parts of our ceremony; it was more meaningful to us thank candles or sand and I loved the message the officiant read while we tied it.
What was your favorite part of your ceremony?
As always linking up with Wedding Wednesday @ To Travel and Beyond.
