Eat Drink & Be Mary: A Day in the Life

A Day in the Life

I know I've said it before, but I love posts that help you get to know the blogger better.  And this week's 52 Week Blog Challenge theme is a day in the life is a perfect way to do that.

Originally I was going to just do Saturday, but then wanted to add in Sunday too.  So it's sort of a weekend recap of sorts, but it's generally what every weekend looks like in my house.

During the work week is what I'm doing more days than that, but I'm a teacher and there really isn't much to show there...but maybe one day I'll log that too.  And let's face it showing a weekend is much more fun.

+ Saturday morning ritual: coffee, cereal & The Kitchen.

+ Followed by more TV watching and blog work.

+ Saturday was beautiful (and only a hint towards this weekend's promising weather) so worked on a couple updates outside.

date night

date night at our favorite Japanese restaurant

they always give you so much food, and I love getting two meals out of it

followed by a run to Walmart to pick up frames, and T had to look at windshield wipers...and corrected me on my snap (above) but a little too late
late night work because I'm not allowed to (and shouldn't be) nail anything into the walls

eat all the carbs | cents of style

+ After my morning coffee and cheerios (and dish washing), it was time to watch a little TV and work on the prints for our bathroom wall.

wrapping up this week, and planning out next week

trying out my Addiction 3 Palette from Younique with the help of many, many youtube videos ;)

+ A little meal planning and grocery shopping with the help of my dear friend, caffeine.

then the lady at DD gave me a medium when I ordered a large, and said it was okay as long as I didn't tell

+ Followed by cleaning, TV watching, lesson planning and gallery wall planning.

Basically we do a lot of TV watching, blogging and little house update projects.  But I love spending my weekends with my sweet husband, and can't wait for the weather to warm up so we can start spending our time outside soaking up that sweet, sweet sun.

I have to admit that I had a blast capturing my day weekend for y'all, and may possibly have to do this more often.  So tell me, are y'all like me, are you super curious what bloggers do when they're not posting?  Do you like these type of posts?  What's your typical weekend look like?
