Just in time for Valentine's Day these unique Diet Coke glass bottles will be hitting shelves at your local Kroger. And what better way to show your better half how much you love them than by giving them the gift everyone enjoys...Diet Coke in a glass bottle.
There's just something so classic about a Cocoa-Cola glass bottle. Add in a few other items and you'll have one happy man on your hands. AND the best part? This gift can turn into a fun DIY for you afterwards.
Diet Coke Glass Bottle Vases..hello, Spring. I've missed you and you're beautiful, bright colors. Ahhhh, I just love a good up-cycle.
If there's one thing I love about a DIY project is that it's easy. And this vase is just that. Simply let your man (or indulge a little yourself) enjoy the refreshing Coca-Cola themselves, and then DON'T throw away the bottle.
+ Cooa-Cola Glass Bottles (get yours at Kroger)
+ Multi-Surface Paint
+ Flowers (freshly picked, or in my case fake flowers because we all know I can't keep flowers alive to save my life)
1. Rinse out bottle and let dry
2. Squeeze paint into bottle
3. Swirl around in a circular motion to get the paint to coat the entire bottle
4. Make sure you get against the top edges
5. Let bottle dry upside down to drain excess paint
6. Lift up after 10-15 minutes to let that paint drip out
7. Let dry for several hours
8. Add flowers
And there you have it, BEAUTIFUL and just as importantly easy DIY vases.
So about these bottles. Cocoa-Cola has been knocking it out of the park lately with their festive bottles/cans, so of course they had to one up themselves with these one-of-a-kind bottles. No two bottles are the same, how cool is that?! Find your bottles at Kroger and get to crafting!
I may be easy to please, but making these DIY vases makes my heart so happy and longing for Spring.
And you gotta love a gift that gives to the both of you...just don't tell Thomas ;) Happy wife, happy life...right?
Stay tuned for my Valentine's Day gift guide.
How would you up-cycle these bottles? What are you getting your man for Valentines Day this year?
