Eat Drink & Be Mary: 2015 in Review

2015 in Review

2015 was undoubtedly one of the best years yet.  Working in a kindergarten classroom with my mom, planning our wedding, moving to SC and so much more.  With Thomas and I getting married, it'll be a year we'll look back on with fond memories years to come I'm sure.  So here's a little look back on this amazing year, I can only imagine everything 2016 has in store...

JANUARY :: right after getting engaged (last December) January was a busy, busy month.  I said "yes" to the dress, took our engagement pictures, missed MANY school days thanks to the snow.  An amazing to start to this memorable year.

FEBRUARY :: Thomas and I celebrated Valentines Day, picked out our wedding bands, and sent out our Save the Dates.

MARCH :: Thomas and I went back to our college town to visit friends, we went bridesmaids dress shopping for my friend, had my second dress fitting and other than that nothing huge stands out other than lots of wedding planning.

APRIL :: I picked up my wedding dress, and Thomas and I registered for our wedding.

MAY :: my bridesmaids threw me a "Something Blue" bridal shower, we took a family trip to the beach, I took my cloggers to a competition all by myself and Thomas tagged along, and celebrated Mother's Day.

JUNE :: I threw my best friend's bridal shower, Thomas graduated from Firefighter Training, we started painting our house, we had our I Do BBQ couple shower, and I wrote this letter to all the girls in a long distance relationship.

JULY :: Thomas turned 25, I had my bachelorette party, our DJ left us high and dry ONE month before our wedding, and we have our wedding rehearsal.

AUGUST :: we got MARRIED, went on our honeymoon & I got my first grown-up job as a 6th grade teacher (all within a week, how insane is that?!).

SEPTEMBER :: one of my best friend's had her bachelorette party, said friend got married, Thomas was also in his college roommate's wedding, I created our beloved gallery wall, and our youngest nephew turned one.  {happy one month of marriage to us}

OCTOBER :: I turned 24 (yikes!), my parents visited our new home for the first time and we had a blast celebrating Halloween with our niece and nephews.

NOVEMBER :: spending our first Thanksgiving with my family, black Friday shopping, and picking out our first Christmas tree our traditions I hope we continue every year.

DECEMBER :: from decorating our house for the first time, to sending out our first Christmas cards this first Christmas season was truly magical.

Happy New Year friends.  I hope you all have a fun and safe weekend heading into this new year.  I have a feeling it's going to be the best one yet.
