Eat Drink & Be Mary: Bridal Shower Hostess Gifts

Bridal Shower Hostess Gifts

Not only is today Wedding Wednesday, but we are halfway through the F I N A L week of school today.  Oh the excitement.  Hello, Summer!

Last week I shared all about my Something Blue bridal shower.  So today I'm sharing the gifts I came up with for my amazing bridal shower hostesses.  Because if you saw how my shower turned out, then you know they deserved an extra thank you.

It's good to keep in mind how much money your bridesmaids have to spend when agreeing to stand by your side and be in your bridal party.  Showing them you're grateful for them with a little extra gift never hurts.

I chose to go with a coffee theme.  Mainly because my hostesses are both coffee lovers and there were some pretty cute ways to stay with the coffee theme.  And I have to admit, I think it turned out pretty cute.

1. Lilly Pulitzer Coffee Tumbler | Swoozies
2. Starbucks Gift Cards
3. "Thanks a Latte" Cookies | A Little Sweeter
4. Personal Letter
5. And a super cute (2/$1) bag to put it all in

I got the idea for these personalized cookies when I saw that Stefanie @ The Syle Safari used them to ask her bridal party..such a cute idea!  I knew I wanted to thank so many people that have helped me during the wedding planning process, and loved this idea of a customized cookie that's cute and tasty.

The cookies are from Lindsey's Etsy Shop, A Little Sweeter.  If you're ever in the market for some personalized cookies, I suggest looking her up.  this isn't sponsored, i'm just thrilled how they turned out.

How did you thank your shower hostess?
What's your go-to hostess gift (not just for a bridal shower)?

  1. I didn't think of it tbh. this is super cute though. And I love hearing when brides have in mind how much their wedding party is spending on them/their wedding and doing a little something to show appreciation for that. This is so great :)

  2. Those are awesome gifts! I'm especially loving those cookies!

  3. ahhh these are SO FREAKING CUTE!

  4. These cookies are BEYOND cute. I love your sweet gifts!

I loved picking out gifts for my girls at my shower - yours are adorable! I love the cute bag too - it's those little touches that give it a little extra sparkle!

  6. These gifts are adorable!! What a sweet idea. I have been trying to think of a smaller gift for some people that have helped so much throughout the wedding, and these are perfect!

  7. What an AMAZING gift idea!! I love the whole coffee theme, and I want to jump through the computer for one of those cookies :)

  8. Adorable ideas! I always loved thinking of creative gifts! Xo, Stephanie

  9. So cute! And thoughtful! I love it.

  10. Thanks Stephanie. I really wanted to make sure it was a gift they'd use.

  11. The coffee theme was a success, and helped make it a gift they could use. The cookies are pretty good; I got extra and tried one haha.

  12. They did an amazing job, and definitely wanted them to know how much I appreciated their hard work. I think going with the coffee theme is a great way to get a couple things together, and they'll actually use them, too. :)

  13. Picking out gifts (for the shower and the wedding) has been one of my favorite parts. I love showing people that I love how much they mean to me. A gift is just one of the easy ways to do that.

  14. Thanks girl. They really liked them, and I was pretty pleased with finding things I thought they'd actually use.

  15. I was so happy with how the cookies turned out. And they actually tasted pretty good too! Win-win.
