Eat Drink & Be Mary: Will You Be My Bridesmaid?

Will You Be My Bridesmaid?

Another Wednesday, another wedding post.  And this week...

Last week I shared the DIY bridesmaid boxes I put together for my girls..they were truly so much fun to put together.  Now I'm sharing how I asked when I gave them their boxes.
I knew I wanted to have hangers for everyone to hang their dresses on, and loved that I found personalized hangers that could have "bridesmaid" on them as well.
There are so many hanger options to choose from, but I knew I wanted mine to have "Mrs.  my-new-last-name" opposed to monogrammed and wanted the rest to follow suit.  I couldn't be more pleased with how they turned out.  Seriously. in love with them..still.

Once I found the hangers I knew I wanted to transform them into how I would ask the girls...and thus this SUPER EASY diy was born.  There's only one step & 2 materials...told you it was easy.

Materials: white kitchen towel, paint marker (similar)

Instructions: write word desired on the towel and let dry.  #simple

**once dry place towel folded over the "bridesmaid" part of the hanger...

It was a total success, and I can't wait to use these hangers again on our wedding day. Eek!

I totally fail for only getting a picture with half of my bridesmaids and their boxes...

And that's a wrap y'all.  Are you loving personalized hangers for the wedding day?  Did you use/plan on using hangers for your wedding?  How did you ask your bridesmaids?  Happy planning bride-to-be's.

  5. Those hangers look awesome! So cute you got to be with them! I was super tricky and sent all my ladies fancy envelopes decorated for New Year's. Inside, they had engagement cards that I doctored up to ask them. This was before we all had cute options like these! Great job!
