I found this necklace on Pinterest (and given Thomas' upcoming graduation date) and  I thought it'd be the perfect purchase.  Only to find out that the link on Pinterest leads no where.  whattttt?  Any ideas where I could find something like this, or an etsy shop owner who could create me one?

workout tank & leggings c/o Soffe
Nikes | Finish Line

I've said it once and I'll say it again, the best motivation for working out?  Cute, new workout clothes.  And Soffe's new workout line totally fits the bill.  I find myself obsessing over these leggings; if only you could feel them through the screen.

These Soffe workout gear are the perfect combo.  You see there's a formula I use when picking out my workout clothes.  In this case, I matched these leggings with the perfect fit (think, tight enough to hold you in, but easy to run in without feeling self conscious) with a loose tank.  I also love pairing such an eye-catching pair of bottoms with a calm top.

The new Soffe line fits all my needs; it's like they know me.  Their products totally fit the bill, when it comes to fashion, being comfortable, practicality & price.  Just because you want to look cute doesn't mean you have to break the bank, thanks to Soffe.

Totally a go-to when it comes to athletic wear, for this girl.  And Soffe isn't stopping there; they're are working to help connect young women so they can be bigger then themselves.  Soffe is aiming to make a change, from anti-bullying efforts to changing #selfie to #notselfie.

Less selfies?  I'm all for a business who will support that and work to be not just a brand name but a name that will help change women's lives.

And today I'm giving you a double dose of Motivation.

A workout you can do while watching TV.  I mean really?  Does it get better than that?  You have no excuses now.  Get that booty off the couch and into shape.

What is your favorite show to workout during?  Will you be watching The Bachelor Monday?  Check out my workouts for Prince Charming's season here and here.

Currently I'm...

...writing this on my phone thanks to being trapped in my house due to an unexpected 5 inches of snow

Drinking: cherry coke zero

Wearing: yoga pants..snowed in remember

Refusing To: let all this snow keep me from being active and getting to the gym.  anyone else struggle with your fitness goals when Mother Nature has cold, snowy weather in the forecast?

Feeling: Anxious.  Thanks to binge watching gossip girl on all these snow days we've had lately.  I just feel like I know the characters in real life & their decisions kill me.

Eating: spinach and artichoke bites...snow day win!

Listening To: Riot by Rascal Flatts

Loving:  my Valentine present.  It came in the mail yesterday and I'm over the moon.  This 16x20 will be perfect in our house (eek!)

Excited About: Getting married!!  It blows my mind that in FIVE months I'll be married, in a different state and living the life I've been dreaming about for so many years.  I CANNOT wait!

Thankful For: a warm house and food on the table during all this cold, cold weather.

Wishing: For warmer weather...but I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Admiring: everything in the Etsy shop, The Paper Walrus.  Y'all this shop is wooden sign heaven (but she has other things as well).  I've hit the wedding decor gold mine.

DDT [feb.24]

Welcome to a new week of Delicious Dish Tuesday, where we share our recipes and ask you to share YOUR awesome recipes with us!  Last week we had some delicious looking recipes shared, I love finding all these new recipes to add to my "to-do" list.  This past week my favorite recipe was shared by Ashley @ A Party of Four.

Peppermint Patty Whoopie Pies

Is it too early to start baking for the next holiday?  Too late.  I took full advantage of our snowweek and baked my little heart out.  First up...peppermint patty whoopie pies.  Yum-o.

Just a quick note: if you don't want to make them into whoopie pies, these are fantastic just as normal cake with icing.  The perfect parts of peppermint patty, mint, vanilla and everything else you could imagine.

Trust me, even if you don't wear green this St. Patty's day no one will pinch you for giving them this treat.  Win-win y'all.

What you'll need:
+ Shamrock Cookie Cutter
+ The Pioneer Woman's Peppermint Patty cake & Vanilla Mint icing recipes
+ Powdered Sugar

To get the directions for the cake and icing recipes head on over to The Pioneer Woman's blog.

Once you've made your peppermint patty cake and vanilla mint icing, we're in business to make some whoopie pies.  First make sure that your cake has cooled completely; it won't work if it's at all still warm.

Step 1: First cut out shamrock shapes from your cake.  Scrape away excess, but don't you dare consider throwing away all those yummy scraps...they'll come in handy later.

Step 2: Using a piping bag (or ziploc bag) to line the cake with icing and then fill it in, covering the entire piece of cake.

Step 3: Top with a second shamrock-shaped cake piece and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

And BOOM! you have made yourself one delicious whoopie pie.  Piece of cake. ;)

Now I know you're wondering what to do with all those crumbled up scraps.  Well you have 2 options, both are pretty darn good too.

Pile up those crumpled up pieces on your plate and one. glop on the extra vanilla mint icing it won't be pretty but it'll be yummy OR two. top with The Pioneer Woman's peppermint patty fudge icing for a super decadent treat fit for a leprechaun.

Feast your eyes...

Let the trickery begin y'all.  What's your favorite mint/St. Patricks day recipe?  Which icing sounds better to you?

F I V E .

Dear Friday, you hardly feel like a Friday thanks to the snow canceling school all week.  But I suppose I'll celebrate you anyways.

On the bright side, I am looking forward to some wedding plans I have scheduled for tomorrow, so I guess that's one good reason to be extra happy about it being Friday today.  So I'll spare you my cabin fever babbling, and get on with my five today.

Linking up with Oh Hey, Friday! and the girls behind 5 on Friday as usual, you should too!

ONE | In the Kitchen.

I made homemade pizza for the first time this week (thank you snow day #3) and it was a total success.  I may or may not have danced around the kitchen with excitement in celebration for a savory success.

Any suggestions for my next culinary adventure?

TWO | Wedding Party Gifts.

I have been searching all over the inter-webs to find gifts for our bridal party, parents, and everyone who is helping us during this whirlwind towards our wedding day.  I have several ideas/plans for my girls, but would love some suggestions for our parents.

What do you do for your parents; or do you know any etsy shops I should check out?

THREE | Cup of Joe?

Did you need to take a rain check on our coffee date earlier this week?  Let's catch up this weekend.  I can't wait to dish.

FOUR | Black Onyx.

When we went to pick out our wedding bands, I spotted a black onyx gem and fell in love.  I've been totally obsessed with them ever since.  What is your favorite gem?  diamond doesn't count ;)
these earrings...oh my word!  #obsessed

FIVE | Will there every be a day that I'm not gushing over these engagement pictures?  Probably not.

Happy Weekending, or as I like to say, the way the past week has gone.  #whatdayisit
