LDR Valentine's Ideas

I've said it before and I'll say it again.  Long Distance sucks.  Especially on Valentines day.  But who says that distance can stop you from having a date night?  Here are some Valentine's ideas for LDRs.

1. Dinner Date.  Make your favorite meal together, via skype, and of course eat it afterwards.
2.  Get take out for your favorite place to go together.
3. Movie Night, get your favorite redbox and watch it together while on the phone.
4. Send a care package.
5. Pamper yourself.  It sucks to be alone on Valentine's day, but getting your nails done or a massage outta give you a little pick-me-up.
6. Pray for your relationship.  Long distance relationships take hard work, and praying for it and leaning on God is the best thing you can do.
7. Go shopping, shopping fixes all. #fact
8. Take a surprise visit to go see them.

  6. These are great! My husband and I lived just 15 min. away at home, but during our two years of time during college, we were 1.5-2 hours away. These would have been perfect. Thanks so much for sharing!! xo

  8. I agree that long distance sucks. I'm making my boyfriend something homemade for Valentine's and mailing it to him, but I haven't decided what yet. Skype is a life-saver. It would be so much harder without Skype.

  9. It gets old fast, haha. But thankfully we now have an end date (t-minus 7 months!!). Luckily, this year Valentine's day is on a Saturday and I plan on visiting T is SC. Although last year I tried, and a big snow storm stopped me :(

  11. Thanks girl. The plan is to take a trip to SC, but we'll see if the weather cooperates this year. Cross your fingers! Oh, how fun! I can't wait to hear all about it.

  12. T and I are pretty much the opposite. We met in college, and for those two years were 5 minutes apart and saw each other day. Once we graduated (over a year ago), we became 4 hours apart! It's rough, but we make do.

I always love to hear about couples that made long distance work; so encouraging!
