Eat Drink & Be Mary: Virtual Coffee Date II

Virtual Coffee Date II

It's been a while since we've caught over a good cup of coffee and had ourselves a little virtual coffee date.  And since I've been feeling all sorts of scrambled and out of touch lately, I figured a coffee date outta do the trick.  Let's catch up shall we?

If we were having a coffee date I'd tell you...

| First I'd tell you to meet me at Starbucks (thank you birthday gift cards) and that you need to try a new drink I "created".  Salted Caramel Mocha, hold the mocha (no chocolate for this girl) add pumpkin spice.  #yummo  It's amazing y'all, seriously. #tryit

| I'd tell you about the Great Food Blogger Cookie Swap I joined -- thanks to Kaylin @ Enticing Healthy Eating.  That I'm excited to swap cookies with other food bloggers this holiday season, and love that the donations go towards a great charity as well.  Get more details here.

| Then I'd tell you all about the field trip our kinders are going on today to the pumpkin patch.  You can only imagine all the excitement that'll happen there, and the hilarious stories I'll have to tell.  To see life through a five year old's eyes is a treat.

| After that I'd probably tell you about the two pumpkin crafts I'm dying to try this year.  Of course I couldn't just tell you about them; I'd have to pull them up on Pinterest (because all good things come from Pinterest) and hopefully you'd be crazy over them too. I'd also be gushing over the one on the left because I know the blogger that made these; she's a genius I tell ya.

Glitter Pumpkins - Can't wait for fall! You better believe I'm going to have tons of glittery pumpkins outside my door!!

| I'd let you in on the fact that I canNOT resist this year's fall fashion.  Old Navy and Jane.com are seriously making a dent in my wallet.  I'd let you know that Jane.com truly has the best deals out there, and the Old Navy "bucks" are pretty rockin' too.  Bring on the cardigans, vests, and scarfs.

And along with the fall fashion, I've fallen head over heels for my most recent discovery ; OPI "Visions of Lollipops".  The perfect fall polish.  #fact

| Before we left, I'd apologize for talking your ear off and thank you for listen to me babble away.  I'd ask you what your plans are for this weekend, and if there's anything else you want to get off your chest.  I'm blessed to have a friend in you.

And to thank you for your time I'd send you home with some Cake Batter Puppy Chow; baking is my love language.  There's no better way to say "thank you" than with a treat made with love.
So tell me friends, what's new with you?  Any deals I should know about?  What are your weekend plans?  Let's catch up...

  1. Woohoo! I'm so glad you're joining in on the Food Blogger Cookie Swap! This is my first year as well, so I'm looking forward to it. If you check out some of the other blogger's entries and swaps of cookies from the previous years, they all look fantastic. I can't wait!! Thank you for the shout-out. :)

Also, I'm a craft-lover and those glitter pumpkins caught my eye. Too cute. I hope you post pictures! And thanks for the *virtual* bag of complimentary puppy chow. ;)
