Eat Drink & Be Mary: Just Breathe.

9.29.2014

Just Breathe.

Sometimes life is filled with moments that have you non-stop on the go.  That's how I feel lately.  Go go go.  But I forget that there is no need to rush things.  Life will happen as God plans.  It's times like these that I need the reminder to just breathe.  Sit back.  Pause for a moment.  Stop all the hustle and bustle.  Trust in God's plan.  And just breathe.
Are you ever in need of such a reminder?  To slow down.  Stop looking forward to the next stage in your life, and enjoy the one you're in now.  To just breathe.

FOUR girls "said YES!" this weekend according to my facebook timeline.

Just Breathe.

I have zero posts prepared for the rest of this week.
Just Breathe.

I need to get back on the workout train + get my eating in check.
Just Breathe.

Not so patiently waiting on Thomas and I to be together again.
Live in the moment and just breathe.

So today I've decided to slow down.  To live in the now.  To not take for granted what I've been blessed with.  To let go of silly worries and trust Him.  To just breathe.

and if that doesn't work I'm just going to play with more glitter.  ;)

or get this bracelet as a reminder ;; how stinkin' cute is this?

What are you struggling with today?  Do you find yourself living a go-go-go lifestyle, pushing through life without stopping to admire the beauty will live in?  What do you do when you realize you're stretching yourself to thinly?

Speaking of breathing...welcome this month's sponsor.  Nelle's truly a breath of fresh air here in blogland.

  2. Day by day for sure. I wasted a lot of time waiting for a ring that I regret now. I knew it was coming eventually, so what was I so worried about? I look back on that time now and hate that I was so caught up in something that ultimately wouldn't matter. But that pang in your stomach every time you see someone else get a diamond ring? Yeah, I know it well. It still happens sometimes even now because my body was SO used to doing it. Here if you need anything. And just breathe! <3

  4. Great message girl! There's definitely days where you can get so caught up in everything and all you need to do is take a step back and just breath! Life really is beautiful when you stop to admire it. But sometimes it can be easier said than done!

  9. I have to remind myself this every single day because I tend to over think EVERYTHING!

  10. I need that bracelet! I just spent 4 full days with my LDR boyfriend and I'm just so ready for us to be together. We know it is going to happen, we just don't know when exactly because he is still in grad school. When things aren't going 100% your way, it's easy to stress and overthink things but you just need to breathe. Great post!

  11. This post is exactly what I need right now. I'm in the midst of moving states, so moving, switching jobs, and transferring schools has been very overwhelming. Thank you so much for the reminder!

  13. I feel anxious very often, sometimes over things that aren't even worth the worry. I find it best to turn to God and remember that He has a plan. And in all that, don't forget to breathe. I'm glad you enjoyed the post. You may also enjoy my post: 20 verses on anxiety and stress.
