Eat Drink & Be Mary: Making Memories

Making Memories

When I first had the idea of creating a blog I obviously had no clue what I was doing.  But really who did?  If you're raising your hand I'm truly envious of you.  One of the reasons that I was drawn to starting this blog was having a place to store pictures, and boy do I LOVE pictures.  Obsessed, some would say *cough cough my boyfriend*.  Since then I've grown to love this blog for many other reasons and it has been my outlet to seek help in tough situations, share my favorite recipes like my Peanut Butter Butterfinger Pie, keep accountable with my fitness goals, and profess my love for Pinterest.  And I'm in awe of it all...
But today I'm taking it back to the basics and leaving you with a photo dump of past weekends recapping them in pictures.  I really don't wanna loose or forget these memories, and thats where my little ole blog comes in handy.  So enjoy a weekend recap of sorts... beware lots of pictures below.

Remember, today's the last day to enter the giveaway to win the gift card to Flourish Boutique!

Keep your eyes peeled for a giveaway  with this scarf later this month :)
Hands down best picture ever. #loveit
Believe it or not they're sisters, and probably couldn't be more different.  And we're all best friends.

As I warned you before that was a lot of pictures, but I really want to document these memories.  Each one of these weekends was a blast and were filled with memories I never wanna forget.  And shouldn't that be how every weekend is?  I hope you're weekend was one you never wanna forget.
Did you do anything exciting this past weekend?  Why did you originally create your blog?

  1. It's amazing to look back at my blog from time to time and see where it's come and how it's changed over the years. But I agree, it's always been a good place for me to share my thoughts, etc.

  2. I just gotta say, Yay for best friends! Where would we be without them? And I got so excited when you said that scarf will be in a giveaway--scarves are on my no-way list, until I saw that one. Between the material and the coloring, it's like yummy strawberries and cream. Man, if you get me wearing scarves AND midi rings, Mary...

Weekends around here are usually nothing out of the ordinary thanks to my lack of energy, but this weekend my husband and I got to go a few places (you know, like Claire's ;) and I went Cara Box shopping! That was quite fun. :D

  8. Aw, lots of fun pictures and it's interesting that those two are sisters- I was actually wondering if they were prior to the reveal! They have some similar features for sure. The three of you all have really pretty eyes!

  10. I love weekend recaps and photo dumps! I also didn't think it was a ton of pictures ;)

We were in Gatlinburg almost 3 years ago now and loved it! Abigail was only 6 or so months old and the Joplin tornado happened while we were there.....so there are a lot, a LOT of memories attached to that place.

As far as why I started my blog? Well, that's why the name of my blog is A + Life! A for Abigail...plus everything else :)
