A Pie That'll Make Your Mouth Water

Another Tuesday, Another Recipe.

Tuesdays are slowly but surely becoming my favorite day in blogland, running a close second to Fridays.  Fridays just seem to have the most/fun link ups.  But surely enough Tuesdays are catching up.  I love sharing the recipes I've tried, and seeing all of yours.

This week I bring to you Peanut Butter Butterfinger Pie.   Try saying that five times fast.  Anyways, as the title claims this recipe is bound to have you drooling before you even take a bite.  The recipe was easy, little actual baking, and lived up to the pictures I saw before trying it out myself.

Peanut Butter Butterfinger Pie
Original Recipe found at Inside BruCrew Life by Jocelyn.

Ingredients:
1 refrigerated Pillsbury pie crust (comes in box)
1 pkg. cream cheese (8oz), softened
1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
1 C of sour cream
3/4 C peanut butter
2 1/2 C cool whip
1 1/2 (or 5-6 fun sized) Butterfinger bars, crushed

Instructions:
Pre-Heat Oven to 450 degrees.

1. Set out pie crust, for 15 minutes.
2. Roll out pie crust, gently, and place in a 9 inch pie plate.  Press down firmly into the bottom, and use a fork to prick the bottom of the crust very well (to avoid the crust bubbling up).
3. Bake the crust at 450 for 10 minutes.
4.  Let the crust cool completely.
5. In a mixing bowl, beat the (softened) cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, and sour cream until creamy.  Remove 2 cups of the mixture and set aside.
6.  Add the peanut butter to the remaining batter, and mix again.  Spoon into the bottom of the pie crust.
7. Fold the whipped cream into the saved batter.  Spoon on top of the peanut butter mixture in the pie crust.
8.  Refrigerate for 2 hours (at least).
9. Crush the Butterfinger bars into large chunks.
10. Cover the top of the pie with crushed Butterfinger bars. Keep refrigerated.
Slice, Serve & Enjoy!

This is the second recipe I've made from this beautiful baker.  The first recipe was perfection and was a hit all across the board, so I knew the this recipe was bound to be just as successful.  And it soared way over my expectations.  Needless to say, if I need a recipe Jocelyn is now my go to girl.
