Eat Drink & Be Mary: This weekend I...

This weekend I...

It has been a blessing, to say the least, to have been home this past weekend.  I love spending time with my family and Thomas here at my home.  It's so heart warming to be surrounded by people who you love and love you.  There's no words to describe it.  Especially this time of year--I just love Christmas!

My weekend is actually not over.  Since we are completely done with school, and are just waiting for December 20th to roll around, we figured we'd stay around these parts until Tuesday.  But I didn't wanna make you gals workin' your booties off to feel too bad & decided to go ahead and recap my weekend.  So without further adieu...

My Weekend Recap-
This weekend I...

Friday || As I've mentioned before birthday celebrations around these parts are taken seriously and usually last all week.  I mean seriously, you've survived another year in this crazy world.  You deserve to celebrate.  And make your celebrations worth it.  All this to say Friday night we celebrated my roommates birthday.  And it was a blast.  23 years well celebrated.  Good music, great friends & expensive yummy hot dogs.

Saturday || Thomas and I came up here to be with my family.  The day was spent relaxing & eating dinner with my grandparents.  It is so nice to come home to home cooked meal.  10x better than the school's cafeteria food lemme tell ya!  Saturday night Thomas and I opened our Christmas presents to each other--don't let that face fool ya he was excited.  Finishing off our night we watched Deck the Halls.  Thank You ABC Family.

Sunday || After spending the morning in the Lord's house, my mom and I had a shopping day searching for my graduation dress.  Thomas was a brave, brave sole and spent the day with my dad and brothers.  Bless his heart.  But I love that he felt comfortable enough to do that.  The boys went and watched the Hobbit.  That is just not my type of movie.  I can't do it.  I was scarred as a young girl by the first Lord of the Rings, and there's no turning back now.  #sorryimnotsorry    Sunday night was spent curled up on the couch by the Christmas tree watching...you guessed it!  Another Christmas movie to check off my Christmas bucket list.  Christmas with the Kranks.

COUNTDOWNS:
4 days til Graduation--Thomas and I are so blessed to have such supportive and loving families.  There is no way either of us could have made it to graduation without them behind us, encouraging us every step of the way.
Thomas and I will be soaking up every moment together until then, enjoying it while we can.
Once this countdown is up, it begins our long distance relationship--cue the tears.

9  days til Christmas--Is this real life?  How is Christmas already almost here!  Unbelievable.  Trying to soak up this wonderful & chaotic time of year.  Remembering the real reason for the season.

"For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord."  Luke 2:11

Have a wonderful week my loves!
