Date Night, Road Trips, and Christmas Movies

Someone should seriously look into adding another day in the weekend.  Two days is just not enough!  Who's with me?
So here you have it.  Another weekend, another schmorgesborg of pictures...
ENJOY my loves

Friday night my sweet man took me out for a night on the town.  It melts my heart when he has thought through date night plans for us--it's definitely the thought that counts in my opinion.  Our date night consisted of the mall food court.  I like to think I'm not a snob when it comes to where my date night takes place...unless it's McDonald's.  McDonald's might be pushing the limit. This close to Christmas and on our college budgets the food court fit perfectly into our broke, college budgets.  Not to mention I was craving Chinese.  Thomas then put up with me as I finished up my Christmas shopping for friends (family is another story).  Poor kid.  To make up for my indecisive self we took a trip to Dicks, and literally stayed in the camo/hunting section for a solid 20 minutes. I'm pretty sure he got the better end of that deal.

Another Saturday, another 8:30am class.  But hey, it was my second to last one! And thanks to all of YOU and the Five on Friday link up, I spent my three and a half hour class reading all of your Friday posts and catching up on all my blogs.  #sorryimnotsorry My brain has been overloaded this week.

Once I got outta class, Thomas and I loaded up the car and we were off!  Charlotte bound, once again.  We met up with his family (his parents, his oldest sister and her kids, and his other sister) and squeezed in a little shopping in the afternoon.  The evening was spent watching his sister coach her basketball team at a local college, and running around with the little ones.  I love watching him play and interact with his niece and nephew. Soo precious!  We capped off the night watching Jack Frost, turns out I have never seen it.  Who woulda thunk it?

Sunday I finished up my student teaching portfolio.  Hallelujah!! Can I get an AMEN?  Seriously, I am sooo glad that is behind me now.  Now all that's left is my presentation Monday.  I cannot wait for Monday at 5 to be over with.  But I'm getting a little ahead of myself here, let me back up...
Sunday was spent relaxing and watching Christmas movies with my man.  Hot chocolate in hand.  Christmas Vacation on the TV.  Boyfriend by my side.  No complaints here.  Perfection. Followed by a bubble bath & reading Longing by Karen Kingsbury.  #relaxation PS. Hersey's has a Christmas Candy Cane bar out: mint candy with candy bites...yum!  Add it to a hot chocolate kcup.  Trust me!  You'll fall in love. #HeavenonEarth  Continuing with the Christmas movies, Holidaze and Holiday in Handcuffs on ABC Family (too cute!) & baking blondies for Thomas (and my roomie's birthday is tomorrow! eek!).  What a perfect Sunday!!

And just like that the weekend has whizzed past us again.  One by one they've been slipping away, and I can't believe it's already almost 2014, wasn't New Years a minute ago?  Is it just me or do y'all feel that way too?

Thank you, for stopping by!  If you're from the linkups leave a comment
