Eat Drink & Be Mary: No Bake Cookies

No Bake Cookies

My mom loves to serve the Lord.  One way she does this is by serving others.  Often when serving others she would visit the elderly, or people who are simply in need of some company, and bring them baked goods.  I'm 100% that I got my love of baking from my mother.  At four years old she had me sitting up on the counter pouring in the sugar to the batter, and stirring up the mixture to bake whatever goody she had in mind.  Even now, when I go home we often will bake something delicious together while chatting away.

One thing we have baked many, many times is no bake cookies.  Also known as, "oaties" "no-bake chocolate oatmeal cookies" "amazeballs"--nope just me?   Oh well, I will continue you to use that word; it makes me giggle.  Anyways, they are beyond amazing, and you won't regret trying this recipe--your spouse/roommate will thank you.

But seriously a cookie you don't even have to bake--say no more!  This is right up my alley.  I'm not a huge chocolate fan, but even though these cookies may look like chocolate overload they aren't.  These cookies are the perfect mesh of chocolate, peanut butter, and you don't even have to use the oven to enjoy these little balls of yummy-ness!
